Meet Emma

Emma’s energy and enthusiasm are infectious! She has vast radio experience both behind the scenes and on air. In her career she’s been a producer for BBC Radio 1, she launched and produced the national chart show ‘hit40uk’ as well as launching and producing Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston. Emma has presented numerous programmes on local radio, as well as working as a broadcast journalist in BBC local radio. After becoming a mum Emma changed career and was the Director of childhood bereavement charity Families in Grief for a decade. Nowadays, you can find Emma back on the airwaves as the host of Drivetime on The Voice, entertaining North Devon weekdays from 3-7pm. Emma also DJ’s and is a regular host of the Appledore Book Festival interviewing TV personalities and authors such as Sarah Beeny and Rev. Richard Coles.
